Pet Sitter Handoff & Routine Organizer — Printable Worksheets

Six printable pages for one pet-sitting stay. Fill them in before the sitter arrives and leave the whole set with them. Two static PDFs - US Letter and A4, not fillable forms, printed at actual size and filled in by hand. Digital download; nothing is shipped.

• Your routine, in your own words - morning, midday, evening and overnight, plus a feeding table for when, what, how much and where.
• Where supplies are kept - a supply table, plus keys and alarm, bins, heating and the water shut-off.
• A record of the stay - seven day rows the sitter fills in, a visit checklist with a DONE column, and a handback summary.

The six pages

• Pet profile - name, species and breed, age, markings, weight, microchip or tag number, where the pet sleeps and where it is not allowed, notes on how the pet behaves, and a table for others in the household.
• Contacts and instructions - owner, a second contact, the veterinary practice you use and an out-of-hours practice, plus a table for your own instructions about who to call, leaving the property, visitors, and deliveries.
• Routine and feeding notes - morning, midday, evening and overnight in your own words, a feeding table for when, what, how much and where, and lines for water, treats and anything you would rather was not given.
• Daily care log - seven day rows for date, fed, out or exercise, water and litter, and how the pet seemed, plus nine lines for anything worth telling the owner.
• Supplies and where things are - a supply table, and a section for keys and alarm, bins, heating, the water shut-off and anything the sitter should not touch.
• Visit checklist and handback - thirteen checklist rows you write yourself with a DONE column, then a handback summary and sign-off.

What you get

• Two PDF files: US Letter and A4. Both hold the same six pages, so you choose the one that matches your paper.
• These are static printable PDFs, not fillable forms. There are no built-in fillable fields; the worksheets are designed to be printed and completed by hand. PDF annotation software may offer separate ways to add text.
• Digital download. Nothing physical is shipped.
• Download access is delivered by email after payment.

Printing

Print at actual size (100%). Do not use "fit to page" or "shrink to fit", or the writing lines and margins will not come out as designed. Print one set per stay.

Blank pages, and your privacy

Every field is blank. There are no sample names, addresses, phone numbers or example pets anywhere in the files. Once you fill the pages in they will hold personal information, including your contact details, where you will be, and how to get into your home - keep the completed pages private and hand them only to the sitter you intend to use.

What a filled-in page looks like

A made-up example, shown on this page only - the files themselves stay blank, using fields that are already on the sheets:

• Routine, morning - "Out to the garden by 7. Breakfast after the walk, not before."
• Feeding table row - When: 7:30am. What: the dry food in the green tub. How much: one scoop, using the scoop in the tub. Where: kitchen, by the back door.
• Supplies and where things are - "Lead and waste bags hang inside the hall cupboard. Spare key is with the neighbour at number 14."
• Daily care log row - Date: Fri 12. Fed: yes. Out or exercise: 20 minutes. Water and litter: topped up. How the pet seemed: "Settled - slept most of the afternoon."

The pet, times and quantities above are invented to show how the fields are used. Write your own. Nothing here is advice on what, when or how much to feed.
